It's nearly christmas

Well... it's almost Christmas time and a good time for my monthly posting.

The new job is well... boring. Yesterday I spent most of the day doing nothing work related except waiting. None of our machines had any issues, and when they have no issues, I have nothing to do. *sigh* This should give me an oppurtunity to continue reading up on things I want to learn and messing around a little bit with the few programs I'm able to mess around with. That and I am way overpaid for what I do. Not paid what I'm worth, but overpaid for what I do.

We had a little bit of a scare last week too. Allison went into labor at 33 weeks! We went to the hospital and they monitored her for a while. She was having mild contractions about every minute. Not good. They gave her a triblahblah shot. That stopped the contractions but she was told to be on bed rest until she visited with her regular doctor on Monday. The Dr checked her out and said she was allowed to be active again, but be cognizant of her activity level and fluid intakes and to "Take it easy." Those few days of bedrest were insane for me. She was just so whiney a lot. Oh well. I love her anyway.

Looking forward to the Reunion. Hoping I can arrange to make it there with the new baby and all. I need to call Kenny & Erin to get the details so I can be sure to get there.
